Side Eclipse Map - One of my favourite pictures, because it is just a photography of an event happening at a certain time and place combined with the map depicting this certain moment in time and place. The original caption reads:
"Total solar eclipse, photographed by Wolfgang Schindler with a Nikon FM2, a Tokina 3,5-4,5/28-70 mm lens, and Fujichrome 400 ASA, on the 29th of March 2006 at 1.56 pm EEST in Side, a small town situated in the place where the centre line of the path of totality intersected the coastline of the Gulf of Antalya in Turkey, at 36¡ 45' 15.0'' northern latitude and 31¡ 22' 38.7'' eastern longitude."
