Eclipses in school Teaching kids about eclipses is a fairly fundamental aspect of Earth Science classes. Usually introduced when talking about lunar phases most of the information is not interesting UNLESS there is an eclipse coming to your area. In that case, astronomers are urged to get out to the schools and teach the kids about what is coming. It is worth it in the long run.
