Local Culture During an eclipse in Africa the local hotel had arranged for some entertainment before the eclipse. Dressed as menacing African warriors a group showed up with long spears. This did not make some of the people in our group comfortable. A rumor started by someone with a strange sense of humor said they were here in case the Sun did not return after totality.
